Privacy Policy

Math Riddles is developed by Moocsoft (Huseyin Sahinli) and is free to use. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how to remove it. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the app.
The short version. Playing on your own collects nothing — your puzzle progress never leaves your device. Battle mode creates an anonymous account so your trophies can be saved and you can be matched with an opponent. We never ask for your name, email address or phone number, and you can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
Single-player
Levels, scores and progress in the puzzle and mini-games are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere, and uninstalling the app removes them.
Battle mode and your anonymous account
The first time you open Battle, the app creates an anonymous account through Firebase Authentication. This account has no personal details attached — it is a random identifier generated on your device. From that point on we store:
- An anonymous user ID (a random string)
- A nickname, generated for you (like Player4271) and changeable once
- A friend code used to invite opponents
- Your trophies, energy, wins and losses
- Match data while a game is in progress: questions answered, timing and hit points
Your nickname and trophy count are visible to other players on the leaderboard and to the opponent you are matched with. Nothing else about you is shared. Choose a nickname you are comfortable showing publicly.
Finished matches are deleted automatically, normally within an hour. Your profile stays until you delete it.
Where the data is processed
Battle data is processed by Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Functions and App Check) on servers located in the United States. It is transmitted over encrypted connections. See Firebase's privacy documentation.
App Check verifies that requests genuinely come from the app rather than an automated tool. It does not identify you.
Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and advertising data to serve and measure ads. This is what keeps the app free. Depending on where you live, you will be asked for consent the first time you open the app, and you can change your choice later in your device settings.

Diagnostics
If something goes wrong, third-party services may record technical information such as the device model, operating system version, and the time of the error. This is used to fix bugs and is not linked to your identity.
Deleting your data
You can erase your account and everything attached to it at any time:
- In the app: main menu → gear icon → Delete my data. This is immediate.
- Without the app: submit a request at moocsoft.net/delete-account, and we will action it within 30 days.
Deleting removes your account, nickname, friend code, trophies, energy, win/loss record and match history. Anonymous aggregate statistics that cannot be traced back to any person may remain.
Children's privacy
Math Riddles is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because accounts are anonymous, we cannot identify a user's age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access rules that prevent one player from reading or altering another player's account. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we hold no passwords, payment details or contact information that could be exposed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version, and material changes will be announced in the app.
