Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Did You Lift is developed and published by Moocsoft (Huseyin Sahinli). Questions about this policy can be sent to moocsoft@gmail.com.
2. Workout data stored on your device
The app stores your weekly plan, exercises, equipment choices, set targets, notes, planned times, completed workout dates, actual values you enter and the state of an active workout locally on your device. Moocsoft does not operate a server that receives this data.
Removing the app may remove this local data unless your device platform restores it from a device backup. The app currently has no Moocsoft cloud backup or account recovery.
3. Plan export, links and JSON files
When you choose Share, the app creates either a JSON file or a link containing the plan data. Exports include the seven-day plan, exercise names, equipment, notes, set targets, planned times and rest durations. They do not include completed workout dates, actual performance records or an active timer.
- You choose the recipient and sharing service through your device share sheet.
- A link contains an encoded copy of the plan in the URL fragment (the part after #). Anyone who receives the full link may be able to read or download that plan.
- Moocsoft does not upload or retain the plan on its server. The fallback web page decodes the link in the visitor's browser so it can open the app or download JSON.
- The third-party app you use to send a file or link processes it under that service's own privacy terms.
Share only plans and notes you are comfortable giving to the recipient. Avoid putting personal, health or confidential information in exercise notes.
4. Lifetime Premium and RevenueCat
The optional Premium unlock is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. Payment is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Moocsoft does not receive your card number, billing address or store password.
RevenueCat helps the app load the product, verify whether the lifetime entitlement is active and restore a previous purchase. RevenueCat may process an anonymous app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, purchase status, store, country, app version and technical device information. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy. Apple or Google's own privacy policy also applies to store transactions.
5. Deep links and website logs
The Moocsoft website may receive ordinary hosting logs such as IP address, browser type, requested path, timestamp and security diagnostics from its hosting provider. These logs are used to operate and secure the website. The shared plan is carried after the # in the URL. Browsers do not send that fragment in the web request; the import page processes it locally in the visitor's browser.
As with any URL, browsers, messaging apps or network services may retain the link in history or previews. Use the JSON file option when a URL is not appropriate.
6. Permissions and device services
The app uses the system file picker to import a file you select, temporary local storage to prepare an export, the system share sheet to send it, app links to open shared plans and store billing to offer Premium. It does not request access to contacts, precise location, photos, camera, microphone or health data.
7. Children
Did You Lift is not directed to children under 13 and Moocsoft does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
8. Retention and deletion
You can delete or replace exercises and plans inside the app. Uninstalling removes app-local data subject to device backup behavior. Purchase records are retained by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as required to process and restore purchases; those records are governed by their policies and legal obligations.
9. Security
We minimize risk by keeping workout data local and by validating a shared file before import. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Import plans only from people you trust and review the preview before confirming.
10. International processing and your rights
Apple, Google, RevenueCat and the website hosting provider may process technical or transaction data in countries other than yours. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing. Contact us to exercise a right relating to data controlled by Moocsoft. For store or RevenueCat records, we may direct you to the relevant provider.
11. Changes
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated, and material changes may also be disclosed in the app or release notes.
