1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NutriLens: Food AI Scanner (the "App"), developed by Moocsoft, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Moocsoft provides a food analysis service that allows users to:

• Upload food photos from camera or gallery
• Receive AI-powered nutritional analysis and information
• Access analysis results within the App

3. User Account and Credits

3.1 Anonymous Authentication

• The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create user accounts
• This authentication is solely for managing your credit balance
• No personal information is required or collected during registration

3.2 Credit System

• Each user receives a credit balance for using the analysis service
• Each food photo analysis request deducts credits from your balance
• Credit deductions are processed automatically through Firebase Firestore
• You are responsible for managing your credit usage

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide genuine food photos for analysis
• Use the App only for its intended purpose
• Not attempt to manipulate, hack, or interfere with the App's functionality
• Not upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or copy the App's technology

5. Photo Upload and Processing

5.1 Photo Requirements

• Photos must be taken from your device's camera or selected from your gallery
• Photos should clearly show food items for accurate analysis

5.2 Processing

• Uploaded photos are sent to Google Gemini API for analysis
• Photos are processed solely for providing nutritional information
• We do not store your photos permanently on our servers
• Photos are not shared with any third parties except the Gemini API for processing purposes

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

• The App, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Moocsoft and Hüseyin Şahinli
• All rights, title, and interest in the App remain with Moocsoft

6.2 License

• We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the App

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

7.1 Service Availability

• The App is provided "as is" and "as available"
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We may suspend or terminate the service at any time without notice

7.2 Analysis Accuracy

• The nutritional analysis provided is for informational purposes only
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the analysis results
• Results should not be considered as medical, dietary, or professional nutritional advice
• Always consult with qualified professionals for dietary decisions

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Moocsoft and Hüseyin Şahinli shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for using the App (if applicable)
• We are not responsible for any health consequences resulting from relying on our analysis

9. Third-Party Services

9.1 Firebase

• The App uses Firebase Authentication and Firestore services
• Your use of Firebase services is subject to Google's terms and policies

9.2 Google Gemini API

• Photo analysis is performed using Google Gemini API
• Your photos are subject to Google's data processing practices during analysis

10. Modifications to Terms

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time
• Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the App
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms
• We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:

• For violation of these Terms of Use
• For any reason, with or without notice
• Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Severability

These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Moocsoft regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

By using the Moocsoft App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
